Frequently asked questions
Is the game free?
Yes. The game is free, with optional rewarded ads and optional in-app purchases: Commander's Seal, Campaign Pack and gold packs. Everything you buy is fixed; no chests, boxes or random rewards are sold.
Do I need an account?
No. The game asks for no account, so your progress stays on your device.
I got a new phone. Where is my progress?
The game has no account or cloud save of its own. Progress lives on the device. When you restore a device backup, iOS usually brings back app data too, but the game cannot guarantee it.
My purchase is missing. Can I restore it?
Yes. Tap "Restore Purchases" on the store screen; purchases return with the same Apple ID. If that does not work, write to us.
Which iPhones and iPads does it run on?
It currently requires iOS 18 or later.
I am stuck. What now?
If you get stuck, reinforcements arrive. You never lose a normal campaign battle (Guardian and Seal Lord duels excepted); asking for help only costs you stars. A free daily hint also shows the right move.
When does the daily puzzle change? Is the web one the same as the app's?
The puzzle changes at midnight by your device's local calendar. The same date is the same puzzle everywhere: the Puzzle Castle on the web and in the app use the same rules and the same generator. Your web results and streak are kept separately and do not affect your streak in the app.
What does "exactly one solution" mean?
Each puzzle is checked by a solver: the shortest way is unique, and its length is the move limit (par). There is no luck; the hand, the operations and the incoming cards are known from the start. Retrying is free.
Are there ads in the game?
Only optional rewarded ads: you watch one if you want a hint, star protection or a reward multiplier. Ads (Google AdMob) are non-personalized for everyone, and no tracking prompt appears. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland Google's consent form is shown when required; you can change it later under Settings › Privacy › "Ad privacy options".
What happens to my data?
In short: no account, no tracking; ads are non-personalized; the app can send usage measurements without your name or any user ID. See the full Privacy Policy.
Can I turn analytics off?
Yes: Settings › Privacy › Analytics. It is off by default in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland and on elsewhere. Turning it off deletes unsent events and stops collection. The game's remote settings work independently of it. See the Privacy Policy for details.
